Character Customization
The main goal of this project was to improve how players can customize characters in the game FC. We wanted to give players more options and flexibility so they can create characters that truly reflect their personal style and make them feel proud of their in-game avatar.
Key Efforts:
Collaboration: We teamed up with an external technology group to ensure everything worked smoothly together.
Iterative Design: We used a tool called Figma to create and refine design concepts. We gathered input from various team members, like engineers and artists, to improve our designs.
User Experience Study: We conducted a study to assess how well players understood our prototypes, focusing on menus and features. This information helped us make necessary improvements.
Inclusivity and Accessibility: We worked with a team focused on positive gaming experiences to make sure the game was inclusive. This included removing labels related to gender and ethnicity, using neutral language, and adding an age slider for customization.
